The latest action-packed instalment that gamers dived into was Far Cry 6, that starred Giancarlo Esposito in the role of the villain, Antón, and debuted back in October 6, 2021. As a series, it is famous for embracing chaos and insanity with the same excitement, all while weaving engaging, politically driven narratives. Little surprise that the network’s recent announcement for a Far Cry seasonal program brought on board two creators whose projects have exemplified all of those qualities. About the Series Based on Ubisoft's popular video game series, the short-run anthology series will stream on Hulu and is being made by FX Productions. The show will also follow the video games' structure by introducing a fresh setting and cast of characters in each season. Creative Minds Rob Mac, producer of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and Noah Hawley, the talent behind FX's Alien: Earth and Fargo, will serve as showrunners on the series under their production banners, More Better Productions for Mac, and 26 Keys for Hawley. They will be joined by Emilia Serrano for 26 Keys, Nick Frenkel for 3 Arts, Jackie Cohn for More Better Productions, John Campisi, Gerard Guillemot, Margaret Boykin, and Austin Dill for Ubisoft Film & Television. We’ve shared excellent relationships with Rob Mac and Noah Hawley for a collective six series and 32 seasons of television, and we are overjoyed that they are joining forces for Far Cry,” said Nick Grad, President, FX Entertainment, in a statement. “I have no doubt that they will tell this story in a way that is innovative, compelling, and extremely entertaining. Hawley's Alien: Earth was just renewed for more episodes, with FX and Disney signing a new long-term contract with the creator. “Being able to collaborate alongside Noah Hawley is a goal achieved,” stated Rob Mac. “Ubisoft has been remarkably generous, trusting us with one of the most famous video-game universes ever created.
