Nigel Farage Accuses Teachers of ‘Indoctrinating Children’ on Race Issues

The political figure stated that teachers would go on strike shortly after a Reform UK election victory, accusing them of “poisoning our kids” by instructing students that African-Caribbean youth are oppressed and Caucasian students are perpetrators.

At a gathering for a Michigan-based religious institution, the politician expressed his viewpoint on British schools, stating that the “Marxist left” had “taken over schooling”.

“I’m anticipating a teachers’ strike very quickly after securing a victory,” he remarked in response to questions.

“They are corrupting young minds. They are telling them to be ashamed of their country. They are telling an eight-year-old black child that he is a victim and little Oliver, who is white, who is eight that he is a perpetrator. They are dividing us, not uniting us. They promote this negative culture.”

In response to these assertions, Daniel Kebede dismissed the idea that the schools were under Marxist influence as “nonsense”. He pointed out that any strikes must relate to teachers’ terms and conditions, and questioned whether Reform would attack these right after taking office.

“Farage has built his political career on coded rhetoric and currently, similar to other figures, he is lining up teachers and their unions for a fight,” the union leader said.

“I think that’s grossly irresponsible. Neither I nor our union – advocate such divisive theories as he’s suggesting … If he were to lead the government he would sell out our public services, particularly schooling … and he would be a disaster for education and children.”

Reform, which is leading the polls by about 10 points, has not set out much detail on a proposed education policy and does not appear to have designated an education lead.

However, Farage’s remarks suggested the party would overhaul the educational framework. He said: “We face an enormous task with schooling – truly monumental. Moreover, it won’t happen quickly; it will take us years, years to turn this around.”

Farage expressed that gen Z was more open to analytical thought, but millennials were “absolutely hopeless”.

Honoring Charlie Kirk, he commented: “My goal for schooling is to foster independent thought – to instruct people that there are two points of view and you make up your own mind as opposed to what’s happening now where views are labeled good or bad. It’s a massive job in both Britain and America.”

The party has conflicted with a major educators’ organization, after the union leader labeled them “far right and racist” and dismissed Farage as “a poundshop Donald Trump”.

The politician has charged the union head with being “a self-declared Marxist” … someone who is absolutely determined that young minds be corrupted at school, their minds should be poisoned about everything to do with this country” and maintained that the organization seeks to brainwash teenagers against Reform.

Roughly a million individuals are employed in education in the UK, about half of whom are teachers and the remainder being assistants and administrative personnel. The leading teachers’ organization has hundreds of thousands of members.

Countrywide walkouts over educators’ salaries and work environment in recent years led to significant interruptions in educational institutions and millions of days of lost learning for children.

At the US event, Farage also pledged to help spread the online educational material of the institution in the UK. He stated such groups were “key to resistance”, adding that: “I mean this. I will help garner hundreds of thousands, if not millions of youth to your online courses. I make that commitment tonight and I’ll do that.”

The institution, a small private Christian college, provides complimentary classes. Its website states: “Comprehensive learning is vital for well-being and to perpetuate the blessings of civil and religious liberty. The college furnishes these beautiful courses for free to every interested learner.”
