Brasserie Max's Saketini – Recipe

For something a little unexpected, sample this refined martini-inspired drink. It’s light, aromatic and sippable, and pairs nicely with a few chunks of parmesan.

Japanese-Inspired Martini

Makes a single portion

30ml gin – opt for a crisp gin variety

15ml Lillet Blanc – a light, herbal fortified wine

15ml sake – preferably a delicate, balanced sake

Combine the gin, Lillet Blanc, and sake in a cocktail shaker, add a big handful of ice cubes and stir thoroughly for 30 seconds to cool. Strain into a well-chilled martini glass and serve.

A sophisticated cocktail with Japanese flair
